Issues

In a world where talent alone is no longer enough, artists need support, visibility and tools to manage their careers. TheArtist has been designed to meet these challenges and offer a global ecosystem where every creator can express themselves, connect and thrive.

Artists need more than talent.
‍In
today's world, talent alone is not enough. Artists need structure, support and visibility to make a living from their art. Too often, emerging talent finds itself drowning in a sea of content, with no idea how to get noticed.

recurring issues :

Insufficient visibility:
It's difficult for many artists to make themselves known beyond their inner circle.

Complex monetization:
Traditional platforms offer artists few options for effectively monetizing their work.

Lack of resources:
‍Artists
often lack the tools to manage their careers professionally.

‍Isolation:
Without a strong network, many artists feel alone in their creative journey.

Business Model

Our operation is based on a freemium model: registration is free, while paying packages give access to advanced features.

We also generate revenue through advertising, transaction fees on artwork sales and subscriptions to tools such as FanArt. Thanks to Revenue-Based Financing (RBF), the platform's growth is aligned with investor returns.

Competition

Today, most artists use a mix of social networks, booking sites and marketplaces that are ill-suited to their needs.

TheArtist unifies everything in a single, fluid experience - designed "by artists, for artists" - and thus sets itself apart from generalist or overly specialized platforms.

Use of funds

We're looking to raise CHF 6M to finance platform development, marketing, operations and the recruitment of key staff.

This will enable us to continuously enrich our functionalities, greatly increase the number of users and meet the needs of a growing creative community.

Revolutionize art

Become a key player in the transformation of the artistic world thanks to an innovative and attractive contribution model: RBF.

This FAQ provides a general overview. Before investing, please read all legal documents carefully and, if necessary, seek professional advice.

1. What is TheArtist?

TheArtist is an all-in-one platform dedicated to the artistic world. It offers a professional network, monetization solutions (FanArt), a marketplace (art sales), venue rental (MuseHome) and other features to enable artists to make a living from their art.

2. HOW DOES CROWDFUNDING WORK AT THEARTIST?

Revenue-Based Financing (RBF) is a participatory mechanism whereby you contribute to a project and receive in return a percentage of TheArtist's economic performance, up to three times the amount of your contribution. Once this threshold is reached, payments cease.

3. WHY 15% OF ECONOMIC PERFORMANCE?

This percentage has been set to ensure a balance between the remuneration of RBF participants and TheArtist's ability to reinvest in its growth. Each period (monthly or quarterly, depending on the contract), TheArtist pays out 15% of its total economic performance to RBF contributors, distributed in proportion to their commitment.

4. WHAT DOES THE RETURN OF UP TO THREE TIMES THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY INVOLVE?

Gradual return: Over time, you receive a total of up to three times the amount of your initial contribution. End of commitment: Once this threshold has been reached, TheArtist is no longer obliged to return the 15% of its economic performance to RBF participants.

5 - How long will the repayment take?

If the platform exceeds its targets, you'll achieve a return equivalent to up to three times your contribution more quickly. Conversely, if performance falls short of forecasts, the timeframe will be longer.

6. HOW CAN I TRACK MY PARTICIPATION?

Contributors have access to a secure personal space, where they can consult:
- TheArtist's economic performance.
- Cumulative returns received.
- Key indicators (number of artists, ads, etc.)Regular updates provide information on the platform's developments and strategy.

7 - What are the main risks with this RBF?

Risk of loss:
- If TheArtist fails or generates insufficient economic performance, you risk not achieving a return of up to three times your contribution (or achieving it very late).
- Variability of payments: Payments depend on actual results and may fluctuate or be delayed.
- Illiquidity: It is unlikely that you will be able to resell your RBF position easily, as there is currently no organized secondary market.

8 - Will I get shares in TheArtist?

No. With RBF, you don't become a shareholder in the company. Your interest lies in being remunerated based on TheArtist's economic performance, up to a predefined maximum return, without taking a stake or influencing governance.

9 - What happens if TheArtist raises further funds in the future?

Future financing (loans or external contributions) has no impact on your RBF agreement. You retain your right to receive a share of economic performance up to the defined limit. There is no risk of dilution, as you do not own any shares in the company.

10 - Is there a specific tax advantage?

In principle, the RBF does not entitle you to the same tax benefits as certain schemes linked to the purchase of shares (such as the IR-PME or Pacte Dutreil schemes). We recommend that you consult a professional to assess your situation.

11. how to invest

- Registration & verification: Create your account on the platform.
- Reading & validation: Consult the RBF contract, its conditions and associated documents.
- Contribution: Select the desired amount and complete the secure online procedure.

12. ARE THERE ANY FEES ASSOCIATED WITH PARTICIPATION?

Details of any management fees, commissions or specific costs are specified in the contractual documents. Be sure to consult them before confirming your contribution.

13. CAN I WITHDRAW BEFORE REACHING THE RETURN LIMIT?

The liquidity of an FBR is very limited. Unless otherwise specified in the contract, you will probably not be able to transfer your right to receive economic performance returns until you have reached the set ceiling or the contract maturity date.

14. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE RBF ENDS?

Once the return ceiling has been reached, TheArtist will have fulfilled its RBF commitment and will be able to focus on further growth, via new levers or partnerships. Contributors will have received the full return on their investment.

15. WHO TO CONTACT FOR MORE INFORMATION

If you have any questions, please contact the TheArtist team using the contact form on our website. We'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Issues

Reinventing the future of artists: a single platform to centralize, monetize and shine!

In a fragmented creative landscape, artists struggle to monetize their work, gain visibility and secure reliable contracts.

Existing platforms are not really designed for creators, who have to combine several unrelated tools.

This complexity slows their progress and considerably reduces their income.
