Issues

In a world where talent alone is no longer enough, artists need support, visibility and tools to manage their careers. TheArtist has been designed to meet these challenges and offer a global ecosystem where every creator can express themselves, connect and thrive.

Artists need more than talent.
‍In
today's world, talent alone is not enough. Artists need structure, support and visibility to make a living from their art. Too often, emerging talent finds itself drowning in a sea of content, with no idea how to get noticed.

recurring issues :

Insufficient visibility:
It's difficult for many artists to make themselves known beyond their inner circle.

Complex monetization:
Traditional platforms offer artists few options for effectively monetizing their work.

Lack of resources:
‍Artists
often lack the tools to manage their careers professionally.

‍Isolation:
Without a strong network, many artists feel alone in their creative journey.

Business Model

Our operation is based on a freemium model: registration is free, while paying packages give access to advanced features.

We also generate revenue through advertising, transaction fees on artwork sales and subscriptions to tools such as FanArt. Thanks to Revenue-Based Financing (RBF), the platform's growth is aligned with investor returns.

Competition

Today, most artists use a mix of social networks, booking sites and marketplaces that are ill-suited to their needs.

TheArtist unifies everything in a single, fluid experience - designed "by artists, for artists" - and thus sets itself apart from generalist or overly specialized platforms.

Use of funds

We're looking to raise CHF 6M to finance platform development, marketing, operations and the recruitment of key staff.

This will enable us to continuously enrich our functionalities, greatly increase the number of users and meet the needs of a growing creative community.

This FAQ provides a general overview. Before investing, please read all legal documents carefully and, if necessary, seek professional advice.

1. What is TheArtist?

TheArtist is an all-in-one platform dedicated to the artistic world. It offers a professional network, monetization solutions (FanArt), a marketplace (art sales), venue rental (MuseHome) and other features to enable artists to make a living from their art.

2. How does RBF financing work at TheArtist?

Revenue-Based Financing (RBF) is a mechanism whereby you invest an initial capital sum and in return receive 15% of TheArtist's sales until you have recovered 3 times (x3) your initial investment. Once this multiple has been reached, payments cease.

3 - Why 15% of sales?

This percentage has been set to provide a balance between investor remuneration and TheArtist's ability to reinvest in its growth. Each period (monthly or quarterly, depending on the contract), TheArtist pays 15% of its total sales to RBF investors, prorated according to the amounts invested.

4 What does the multiple of x3 mean in practice?

Multiple x3: Over time, you will earn back a total equivalent to three times your initial investment.
End of obligations: Once this x3 milestone has been passed, TheArtist is no longer obliged to pay the 15% of sales to RBF investors.

5 - How long will the repayment take?

The duration will depend on TheArtist's rate of growth and actual revenues. If the platform exceeds its sales targets, you'll reach the x3 multiple more quickly. Conversely, if sales fall short of forecasts, the timeframe will be longer.

6 - How can I track my investment?

Investors have access to our dedicated internal CRM, where they can consult:TheArtist's sales figures.
Cumulative repayments, Key performance indicators (number of artists, ads, etc.). Regular updates on company developments and strategy.

7 - What are the main risks with this RBF?

Loss of capital: If TheArtist fails or generates insufficient revenues, you may not reach the x3 multiple (or do so very late).
Variable payouts: Payouts depend on actual sales and may fluctuate or be delayed.
Illiquidity: You may not be able to resell your RBF position easily, as there is no organized secondary market for it.

8 - Will I get shares in TheArtist?

No. In an FBR, you don't acquire shares in the company. The interest for the investor lies in the share of sales (15%) paid up to repayment x3, and not in an equity stake or influence on governance.

9 - What happens if TheArtist raises further funds in the future?

New equity or debt issues do not affect your RBF agreement. You still retain the right to receive 15% of sales up to x3. Unlike an equity investment, there is no risk of dilution, since you are not a shareholder.

10 - Is there a specific tax advantage?

In principle, the RBF does not give access to the same tax benefits as certain schemes linked to the subscription of shares (such as "avantage IR", "Pacte Dutreil", etc.). We advise you to consult a professional to assess your personal tax situation.

11. how to invest

Registration / Verification: Create an account on the platform.
Document review: Consult the RBF contract, its terms and conditions, and any other legal information.
Investment validation: Choose the amount you wish to invest and complete the online procedure.

12 - What costs are associated with the investment?

Details of any management fees, commissions or other costs are specified in the offer documents. Please read them carefully before committing yourself.

13. May I withdraw before reaching the x3 multiple?

The liquidity of an FBR is very limited. Unless there is a specific contractual provision, you are unlikely to be able to sell your right to 15% of sales until the x3 target has been reached or the agreement has expired.

14 - What is TheArtist's development plan after the x3 refund?

Once the multiple has been reached, TheArtist will have fulfilled its RBF obligation and will be able to focus on further growth, potentially via other forms of financing or partnerships. RBF investors, for their part, will have benefited from a higher return than their initial investment if they receive the full x3 multiple.

15 Who can I contact for more information?

If you have any further questions, please contact the TheArtist team via the contact address shown on our website or use the contact form available online. We'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Issues

Reinventing the future of artists: a single platform to centralize, monetize and shine!

In a fragmented creative landscape, artists struggle to monetize their work, gain visibility and secure reliable contracts.

Existing platforms are not really designed for creators, who have to combine several unrelated tools.

This complexity slows their progress and considerably reduces their income.
